Research Associate Agricultural Entomology job vacancies in National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR).
Qualification: Doctoral Degree/Ph. D in Agricultural Entomology OR M. Sc. in Agricultural Entomology or /Life Science with specialization in Agricultural Entomology or equivalent degree in relevant field with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university/ Institute with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/ Other engagements.
Desirable: Computer Application. Good communication and writing skills.

Job Requirements: Spoken and written knowledge of English. Handling of insects and other laboratory and field trials, Conducting surveys, Data Collection, compilation and statistical analysis, preparation of documents on computer. He/She should be ready to travel across the country for survey and other project related works at any time during the year
Age: 40 years for Men AND 45 years for women
Pay Scale : Rs. 40000/- + HRA/ P.M. for Doctoral Degree Holders AND Rs. 38000/- + HRA/P.M. for Master Degree Holders.

National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR), was established on June 16, 2005 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, as a step to strengthen research and development infrastructure for pomegranate crop. Though Universities and institutes all over the world are having research programmes on pomegranate, this is the only institution working solely on pomegranate. The centre was established to fulfill the growing demand for pomegranate both in domestic and export market through tapping the immense production potential prevailing in the country
