Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Research Fellowship (BANRF) - 2018 

Online applications are invited from the research scholar's belonging to Scheduled Castes of Maharashtra State w ho are registered for regular and full time M.Phil. and Ph.D. for BANRF- 2018 so as to encourage and support them economically.

Female (50%) : M.Phil- 21,Ph.D- 32

General Male and Female  : M.Phil- 20,Ph.D- 29

Persons with Disability(3%) : M.Phil- 01 ,Ph.D- 02 

Applicant must belong to Scheduled Caste Category & domicile of Maharashtra State. Applicant applying for M. Phil /Ph.D. must have his/her Admission/ Registration  date on or after 20th July 2017 to 10th December 2018.


Applicant's age should not be more than 40 years on 10th  December 2018. 

The annual family income of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 6 lakhs. 

1. Selected candidates for M.Phil. fellowship, will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per month up to two years or as per academic period prescribed by concerned University/Institute. 

2. Selected candidates for Ph.D. fellowship, will be paid Rs. 25,000/- per month (JRF) for the initial two years and Its 28,000/- per month (SRF) for 3rd year, subject to submission of up-gradation certificate and other relevant documents. 

3. Selected candidates are eligible to draw House Rent Allowance (HRA) & Contingency amount as per Government Rules & Regulations.
