Research Associate/01 Post
Essential Qualifications and Experience: She/he should have a Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline with Master's degree in Economics/Sociology/Social Anthropology. Added to that he/she shall have minimum three years of research experience in the area of development-induced displacement studies, R&R issues and knowledge of computer operation including handling of data through SPSS package. The Research Associate shall act as documentation officer of the State SIA Unit. He will maintain all records of SIA studies taken up by various agencies and shall preserve all research reports on SIA. That apart, he will review research articles, research monographs, reports, etc. relating to displacement issues and R&R issues including SIA studies taken up in other states.
Emoluments: Rs.30.000.00 per month.

Essential Qualifications and Experience: She/he should have minimum three years of research experience in the relevant area and shall hold Master's degree in Economics/Sociology/Social Anthropology. Added to that, the Research Assistant also should have knowledge of computer operation including handling of data through SPSS package. She/he shall assist the Research Associate in collection of relevant research materials on development-induced displacement studies, R&R issues and preparation of ToR for SIA studies to be commissioned by the State SIA unit.
Emoluments: Rs.20.000.00 per month

About Company
Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies is an inter-disciplinary social science research institute, with three core disciplines, namely Economics, Sociology and Social Anthropology set up by the Government of Odisha in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Since its inception, the Centre has been playing a proactive role in promoting multidisciplinary social science research in a relatively less researched state like Odisha and helping the State Government in their plan formulation, designing policy intervention measures, programme evaluations and monitoring.
