Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Assistance and Service:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store or counter area.

Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.

Provide product information, explain features, and offer recommendations.

Assist customers in selecting the right product based on their requirements and budget.

Address queries, provide after-sales support, and resolve minor complaints at the counter level.

Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
2. Sales and Billing:

Promote products to boost sales and meet individual and store targets.
-
Explain ongoing promotions, discounts, or offers to customers.
-
Upsell or cross-sell relevant products when appropriate.

Generate invoices and process billing using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately and securely.

Maintain daily sales records and report transactions at the end of the shift.
3. Product Display and Stock Management:

Ensure that all products are well-stocked, correctly labeled, and displayed attractively.

Monitor shelf inventory and coordinate with the stockroom or manager for replenishment.

Tag prices correctly and update offers or promotional labels as directed.

Keep the sales counter, display racks, and floor area neat and organized.

Perform basic stock checks and assist in monthly or weekly inventory counts.
4. Communication and Coordination:

Communicate effectively with other sales team members to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate with store or branch managers for product availability, reordering, or customer issues.

Report low stock, customer feedback, and slow-moving items to management.

Participate in team meetings, product briefings, and training sessions.
5. Store Upkeep and Cleanliness:
