Qualification : 1. A recognized postgraduate qualification Viz. MDS in the specialty concerned OR (i) A recognized Dental Qualification included in the part-I or part-III of the Schedule to the Dentistry Act 1948 (Person possessing qualifications included in part-I or specified in the sub-section (1) or (2) or (4) of Section 10 of the Dentist Act, 1948) (ii) 8 (eight) years experience as Dentist preferably in a Medical Institute. 2. Must be registered with Dental
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Junior Medical Officer (Blood Bank)
No. of Post : 01 (UR)
Qualification : 1. MD Pathology/Transfusion Medicine with one year’s experience in a recognized Blood Bank. OR MBBS with Diploma in Pathology or Transfusion Medicine with one year’s experience in a recognized Blood Bank. 2. Must be registered with State Medical Council.
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is an Autonomous Institute established by Government of India in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983. The then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi dedicated the Institute to the memory of Late Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister for her commitment to the welfare and affection for the people of North Eastern Region. It has now been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in the lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. NEIGRIHMS has been the First and the only Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and third in the country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
