Statistical Officer
No. of Post : 1-UR (Reserved for Visually Handicapped) (B.LV)
Qualification : 1. Post Graduate degree in Statistics from a recognized University. 2. Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) from a recognized Institution. 3. 2 (two) years experience in statistical work related to the field of health preferably in a Medical Institute.
Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Medical Social Worker
No. of Post : 1- (Reserved for Visually Handicapped) (B.LV)
Qualification : 1. Master degree in Social Work/Applied Sociology from a recognized University 2. One year practical experience as Social Worker with a Government Organization in a health related field or reputed Welfare or Health Agencies recognized by Government dealing with Medical/ Public Health Service
Pay : PB -2 Rs. 9300 - 34,800/- GP Rs. 4,200/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years
Technical Assistant
No. of Post : 1 - (ST) (Reserved for Hearing Handicapped for Deptt of Orthopedics)
Qualification : 1. B.Sc from a recognized University with two years working experience in Orthopedics unit of a Hospital with experience of handling C-Arm for Orthopedics Surgery and Plaster Application. Or 2.12th with Science from a recognized Board/University with Diploma in O.T. Technology and two years working experience in Orthopedics unit of a Hospital with experience of handling C-Arm for Orthopedics Surgery and Plaster Application.
Pay : PB-I Rs. 5200-20200/- GP Rs. 2800/-
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years

North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) is an Autonomous Institute established by Government of India in 1987 under the Meghalaya Registration of Societies Act 1983. The then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi dedicated the Institute to the memory of Late Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister for her commitment to the welfare and affection for the people of North Eastern Region. It has now been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in the lineage of AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. NEIGRIHMS has been the First and the only Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and third in the country established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
