General Software Development:
- Software Development Life Cycle Fundamentals
- Iterative/Agile/Waterfall/MSF Familiarization
- Version Control Familiarity (VSS, Subversion, etc)
Personal Attributes: Good Communication skills,Logical Thinking & Knowledge on Domain
Required Skills:
- Programming – General Programming Skills, Strong in OOPS Concept and UML Fundamentals
- Language Specific Skills – C# Mastery, ADO.NET Fundamentals (DataTable, DataSet, DataColumn, etc), Data Binding Mastery and XML Serialization
- NET – ASP.NET Concepts, Control Proficiency, Page Life Cycle Expertise in Win Forms development; Fundamentals of WPF is required.
- Client-Side Development / General Web Development – Java Script, CSS, Web Standards Familiarity, Core Ajax Fundamentals; Classic Web Development Concepts (State Management, Stateless Development)
- .NET Concepts: Assemblies, Exception Handling, Streaming, Attributes, Versioning, Strong Naming.
- Enterprise Architecture: N-Tier Architectural Design, Service Oriented Architecture Fundamentals, Web Service/WS-* Fundamentals, WCF Fundamentals (Address, Binding, Contract)
- Data: Database Design/Data Modeling Mastery, ACID and Normalization Concepts ; SQL Server 2005 /2008 Interaction Familiarity, Query Optimization, Index Design, Tuning, T-SQL Proficiency.
- System Technologies: IIS 6 Proficiency
- MVC, Web API, jQuery, Html 5.
