Job Description
An experienced Project Manager to lead eCommerce Development and Platform Migration Projects for Global Retailers. The client facing role is based out of our India Business center in Hyderabad. The Project Manager will be responsible for client satisfaction, quality of work and project profitability.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Project Management Lead for global eCommerce Development and Migration projects.
- Assess and document client's ecommerce development needs, collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to design a custom solution that addresses the needs and manage the entire project from inception to execution and on-going relationship management.-
- Manage project profitability; plan, track and approve project expenses, billing and invoices. Oversee the creation of goals and strategy throughout project.-
- Manage expectations to client, team members and manage the process from assessment and definition, creative & technical design, production and development, testing and launch.-
- Create and oversee project schedules; ensure timely completion through all phases; take lead on quality control issues; write and present project plans/risks in collaboration with other team members and develop required documentation for all projects.
- Train & educate internal and external stakeholders as the subject matter expert for a solution, web technology, or customer segment.-
- Stay updated on the leading ecommerce platforms like Magento, MIVA, Shopify and Big Commerce-
- Stay updated with market intelligence and the competitive landscape to ensure the team can communicate key product differentiators.Skills:-
- Prior experience in coordinating global projects on leading e-commerce platforms like Magento, MIVA, Shopify and Big Commerce for global clients.-
- Entrepreneurial attitude coupled with strong business acumen.- Ability and appetite to bring people together. Innate ability to marshal people and create gravity around ideas.-
- Exceptional international client relationship management skills.-
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.-
- Passionate about new web technologies.-
- Strong Execution Orientation.
The Requirements :-
- 5-7 years of prior Project Management experience in Ecommerce Development.-
- MBA/ Engineering degree from Tier-1 institute is preferred.-
- Experience in Ecommerce Projects / SaaS/ Enterprise Technology preferred.
