The Collaboration Engineer drives solution architecture, standards, and integration for enterprise collaboration platforms including Cisco IP Telephony (IPT), Microsoft Teams (including Teams Phone), Zoom, video conferencing systems, and emerging AI capabilities.

Based at ZICC Hyderabad with a global remit, the role defines reference architectures, interoperability patterns, and guardrails that enable secure, reliable, and high-quality voice, video, messaging, and meeting experiences across Zoetis.
The role advances frictionless voice, video, and IPT modernization by standardizing architectures, simplifying cross platform interoperability, and enabling reliable, high-quality collaboration experiences with minimal operational friction. Accountabilities include architecture design, cross platform interoperability (Zoom–Teams join flows, SIP/SBC routing, identity and calendar integration), observability architecture and SLO definition, and automation tooling/configuration-as-code handoff to operations.
The role partners with Network, Security, Workplace Technology, IAM, and vendor/OEM teams to ensure compliance, privacy-by-design, E911 readiness, and cost-efficient architectures. It also leads pilots and technical evaluations, establishes governance for AI features (transcription, summarization, intelligent assistants), and provides engineering enablement through solution blueprints and design reviews. Day-to-day operations are owned by managed services/operations teams.
