Job Description
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches,SD-WAN,Wireless LAN, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation
Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Arranging scheduled upgrades
Investigating faults in the network
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
Reporting network status to senior members
Configuration of Routers & Switches
Hands on configuration of CISCO switches.
Configure & Troubleshoot LAN related problems
Good hands on LAN & WAN
Configuration of L2 & L3 switches & routers.
Design and implement advanced configurations and optimizations for SD-WAN, WiFi, VC, LAN solutions.
Statement of Work (SOW)Provide guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers during critical incidents.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NOC and across network operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and technical initiatives.
