Job Purpose
To provide the customer Technical leadership for managing major incidents on its customers network. To be the focal point for the network tower to drive major incidents towards resolution as fast and as safely as possible.

Job Purpose
To provide the customer Technical leadership for managing major incidents on its customers network. To be the focal point for the network tower to drive major incidents towards resolution as fast and as safely as possible.
Responsibilities
Dimensions and Scope
- Technical focal point for network tower for Major Incident Management
- Work with all other tower leads to quickly identify and resolve major network issues.
- Document post incident review output
- Update key stakeholders verbally and written methods
- Coordinating network troubleshooting and problem determination of Major Incidents and associated tickets
- Assistance in fault resolution where network related
- Maintaining a log of work performed and actions required in resolving incidents with identification of root cause where possible with the customer problem manager.
- Reviewing Incidents to ensure all details needed to fix the fault request have been provided. Where there are missing details identify specifically what is needed and liaise with end user or end users’ technical representative to obtain the missing information.
- Work closely with customer partners and end customer affiliates & 3rd parties to deliver resolution of incident tickets
- Follow agreed change control procedures to resolve the Incident
- Present to the customer for review and approval of assigned incident fix
- Communicate progress and status of project work to identified stakeholders.
- CCNP / or equivalent experience working with routing and switching and security products
- 3 + years’ experience working with enterprise networks utilising multiple vendor technologies
- Working within an ITIL environment
- Demontrates excellent experience of dealing with major incident fault resolution and co-ordination
- Firewall CCSP, CCNP Security, CCNP Wireless, CCDP in addition to the mandatory one above - experience working with LAN, WAN, Firewall and Wireless product
- Voice / IPT experience would be advantageous
- Use of the ticketing system SNOW
