Job Description
Basic JD – Proxy Engineer (Zscaler / Netskope)
We are looking for an experienced Proxy Engineer with hands-on expertise in Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, and Netskope to manage enterprise cloud proxy and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, and Netskope proxy environments
Configure URL filtering, SSL inspection, DLP, and web access control policies
Handle whitelisting and blacklisting of URLs based on business requirements
Troubleshoot ZCC, PAC file, GRE/IPSec tunnel, and proxy-related connectivity issues
Configure and support ZPA application segments, access policies, and app connectors
Manage Netskope SWG, CASB, and steering configurations
Perform log analysis, packet capture, and root cause analysis for P1/P2 incidents
Support firewall policy changes, NAT, VPN troubleshooting, and HA-related issues
Coordinate with vendor TAC teams and internal security/network teams
Ensure compliance with ITIL processes for incidents, changes, and problem management
Required Skills
Strong experience in Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC)
Hands-on experience in Netskope Proxy / CASB / SWG
Good knowledge of Proxy, PAC files, GRE, IPSec, SSL Inspection
Firewall knowledge: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA
Experience in VPN troubleshooting, NAT, and security policies
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, and Switching
Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, or similar monitoring tools
