Network Engineer – L1

Role Summary

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing first-level support for enterprise LAN and wireless network infrastructure. The role involves basic network configuration, device monitoring, physical connectivity, end-user support, and escalation of complex issues to the L2 team.

Network Infrastructure

- Cisco Catalyst 9200, 9300 and 2960 series access switches.

- Cisco Catalyst 9500 and 9606 series core switches.

- Cisco 9800 Series Wireless LAN Controller (WLC).

- Cisco 9100 Series Access Points.

- Enterprise network with approximately 100 switches and 150+ Access Points.

- Multiple VLANs, trunk links, EtherChannel and stacked switches.
