Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Administration
-
Configure, monitor, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.

Assign IPs, manage DHCP/DNS, and monitor bandwidth and traffic.
-
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in real-time.
2. Server Management
-
Install, update, and manage Windows/Linux servers (physical and virtual).
-
Perform regular server backups, patch management, and performance tuning.
-
Maintain and monitor Active Directory, file servers, and authentication systems.
3. Security & Compliance
-
Implement network and system security protocols (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection).
-
Monitor for suspicious activity or vulnerabilities; respond to threats and breaches.

Manage access control, data protection, and IT policy compliance.
4. Hardware & Software Support
-
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral device issues (printers, scanners, VoIP).
-
Maintain asset inventory and assist in IT procurement.
-
Install and update operating systems, business applications, and system drivers.
5. Cloud and Virtualization
-
Assist in managing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Configure and maintain virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox).

Handle data migration and hybrid infrastructure setups (on-prem + cloud).
6. User Support & Documentation
-
Provide Tier-1/2 support for user queries related to network access, logins, email, or system errors.

Document configurations, system architecture, SOPs, and change logs.
-
Train new employees on IT policies, access protocols, and best practices.
