About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
# Writing, rewriting, editing and proofreading the text/scripts
# Anchoring news items, doing voiceover to news podcasts
# Fixing any grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors
# Double-checking that names, places, and organizations are spelt properly and that facts, dates, and statistics are accurate (this may involve contacting writers' sources and conducting online research)
#. Scanning social media/websites/newspapers for stories ideas
# Coordinating with reporters, sourcing stories/visuals
# Editing reports and press releases sent by journalists, reporters, and editors verifying the information and story details

1. Ability to write crisp and creative headlines, picture captions, and story summaries
