Qualification: M.Sc. or equivalent in Human Genetics/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences or related discipline (2) NET or DBT-BET Category-II OR M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering or related discipline (1) Experience in handling of software packages and databases (2) Experience in handling DNA sequence/genotyping data.

The National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) has been established as an autonomous institute by the Government of India, under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology. It is located in Kalyani, West Bengal, India, about 50 km. from Kolkata.
