Job Description
Indian nationals are invited for Interview (through Skype) on 22/11/2021 at about 11:00 AM for one temporary position of Research Associate-I under the project “Role of host membrane modulation by mycobacterial membrane vesicles in evading phagosome maturation” in the School of Biological Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by India Alliance (DBT Welcome).

3. Essential Qualifications: The applicant must have been awarded PhD degree in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/or related disciplines. The candidates should have a strong background in molecular microbiology and cell biology.
Candidates with a strong training in mycobacterial-host interaction with hands on experience in mycobacterial microbiology, animal cell culture, microscopy and basic molecular biology are desirable. Candidates having at least ONE lead author publication in a peer-reviewed journal of international repute will have an advantage.
4. Monthly Emoluments: `47,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
5. The above position is purely temporary for a period of one year or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.
Age Limit:
35 years as on date of interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.
