Job Description
One temporary position of Senior Project Associate under the project entitled “Creating magnetic interface in non-magnetic organic thin films for spintronic applications” in the School of Physical Sciences, NISER Bhubaneswar funded by SERB.

2. No of Posts: 01
3. Qualification:
a. Master's Degree in in Physics from a recognized university or equivalent; and
b. Four years of experience in research and development in industrial and Academic Institutions or science and technology organisations and scientific activities and services. OR Doctoral Degree in Physics from a recognised university or equivalent.
4. Desirable: Experience in fabrication of magnetic thin films by physical vapour deposition techniques and/or preparation of magnetic materials by sputtering. Characterization techniques such as low-temperature transport and magnetotransport/ ferromagnetic resonance spectroscopy/magneto-optic Kerr effect/ SQUID magnetometery etc.
5. Fellowship: `42,000/- plus HRA as per SERB rules
The above position is purely temporary for a period upto 20.01.2022 or completion of project whichever is earlier and strictly co-terminus with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/ absorption against any NISER post.

40 years or less as on date of walk-in-interview, age relaxation to entitled categories as per SERB rules
