Assistant Professor Jobs opportunity in National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) on contract basis

Department : ECE, CSE , EEE & Mechanical

Qualification : Ph.D.

Relevant Experience : None, 01 year, 03 years post Ph.D. or 06 years total (excludin g Ph.D. period) obtaining M. Tech. degree.

Appropriate Branch for Departments 

The following paras provide some exceptions or clarifications to “appropriate Branch for Departments”

Computer science & Engineering : B. Tech. in Computer Science or B. Tech. in Electronics/Electrical Engineering followed by M. Tech/Ph. D. in Computer Science. Candidates with other backgrounds and Ph. D in Computer science may be considered on the basis of relevant background, Ph. D. thesis topic and post Ph. D. experience. 

Electronics & Communication Engineering : Candidates having B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering will be eligible depending on the curriculum covered. Candidates with other backgrounds and Ph. D in Electronics & Communication Engineering may be considered on the basis of relevant background, Ph. D. thesis topic and post Ph. D. experience. 

Electrical and Electronics Engineering : B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering or B. Tech. in Electronics Engineering followed by M. Tech/Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering. Candidates with other backgrounds and Ph. D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering may be considered on the basis of relevant background, Ph. D. thesis and post Ph. D. experience.

Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay 

Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- + 07 additional noncompounded increments

PB-3 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.7000/-

PB-3 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8000/-.
