Job Description
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a temporary of post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the MeitY(CC&BT) sponsored project in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Silchar.
1. Title of the project: Development of efficient joint antenna and user scheduling schemes for massive MIMO limited feedback broadcast channels for 5G and beyond communications systems
2. No. of posts 01 (One)
3. Duration 03 years or co-terminus with the duration of the project.
4. Essential Qualification: M.E., M. Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering with first class in B.E/B.Tech & M.E/M.Tech. OR (ii) B.E, B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science with valid GATE score and Engineering with first class in B.E/B.Tech.
5. Desirable Qualification Master Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering with relevant research experience in the field of wireless communications, Artificial Intelligence, Soft computing techniques, and FPGA prototyping. Throughout First Class in academic career is preferred.
6. Salary/Emoluments Rs. 31,000/- per month (for JRF with GATE score) / Rs. 25,000/- per month (for JRF without GATE score) Rs. 35,000/- per month (for SRF with GATE score) / Rs. 28,000/- per month (for SRF without GATE score) Note: H.R.A will not be provided under the project cost; JRF will not be entitled to DA
