Job Description
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the ISRO-RESPOND project titled “Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Hardware/Software Framework for Vyomnoids” in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
1. Position: JRF
2. No of Post: 01
3. Salary: 31000+16% HRA for the first 2 years and 35000+16% HRA for third year
4. Duration of Project: 36 Months (extension based on performance review every 12 months)
5. Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.E/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Embedded System/VLSI/ Signal Processing/Image Processing) with a qualified GATE score obtained in the last four years from the closing date of application form with 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA is 6.5/10) in UG and PG
6. Desirable Requirements: Minimum 1-year experience on FPGA tool and exposure to Hardware Description Languages such as Verilog

(Computer Science/OR&CA) with a qualified GATE score (obtained in the last four years from the closing date of application form) /NET/UGC/CSIR/NBHM score and a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA is 6.5/10) in UG and PG OR Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering or Data Analytics with a qualified GATE score obtained in the last four years from the closing date of application form with 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA is 6.5/10) in UG and PG
6. Desirable Requirements: Knowledge and experience in Deep Learning/Machine Learning.
