Job Description:
We are looking for an ICT Expert who will support our in-house team in hand holding the 100 Smart cities in implementation and sustenance of the ICCCs and related ICT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is adept at designing/architecting ICT solutions, also using data sets from various ICT systems and urban services to find opportunities for improvement in city operation and help in building impactful SoPs/Use cases. S/he must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.
The right candidate will have a passion for exploring emerging technologies for right fitment in cities and discovering smart solutions hidden in large data sets and working with urban stakeholders to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities for ICT Expert:
- Work with various urban stakeholders from Government, Academia, Industry and citizen community to understand ongoing city needs to drive data- driven governance in cities by leveraging ICT.
- Help in developing new and contextual use cases for creating impact from ICT investment, especially ICCCs.
- Design and development of technology solutions, mapping cities functional requirements with technical solutions and cost-effective solutions, providing value for money.
- Provide demonstrations, presentations, training, and consultation in the ICT/ICCC domain.
- Develop ready-to-use Model RFPs, Hackathons, Challenge processes, best practices, and relevant guidelines documents.
- Support in driving standards for ICT along with Standards bodies and industry stakeholders.
- Help in developing programs/ideas/solutions/processes for long-term sustenance of ICT infrastructure in Smart cities, especially ICCCs.
- Explore emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Blockchains, Big Data, etc for fitment and adoption in Smart cities
- Engaging with the Start-up ecosystem in the industry to drive creative and cost-effective solutions.
Qualification and Work Experience:
- B. Tech./MCA in Computers/IT/ ECE or any relevant field.
- 8- 15 yrs. of relevant experience in designing/architecting solutions and use cases for ICT projects.
- Experience in developing solutions for ICCCs/ Command centers/Security Operation centers/ Disaster management centers will be added advantage.
Skills Required:
The candidate must possess the following minimum skills;
- Strong technical and analytical abilities, a knack for driving impact and growth.
- A deeper understanding of various ICT technologies, Protocols, and Standards in the area of Networking, Internet of Things(IoT), Compute /storage, Cloud solutions, Data security, 4G/5G etc.
- Ability to look at things differently, innovatively, debug, troubleshoot, design and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
- Good Understanding of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, NIC etc.)
- Good understanding of various ICT applications in the urban domain. Knowledge of ICCC applications will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Project Life Cycle Management in a city-wide environment through Business function study, Requirement Finalisation, Project Budgeting, Risk Management, Project Execution, operation & maintenance
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
