 Monitoring Network Infrastructure: Learn how to monitor network systems, servers, and related infrastructure for performance, security, and availability

 Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving network issues, outages, and performance problems

 Work closely with experienced engineers to diagnose and resolve issues effectively

 Incident Response: Assist in responding to network incidents and outages, following predefined procedures and protocols to minimize downtime and service interruptions

 Alert Handling: Monitor network monitoring tools and respond to alerts, including alarms for network performance degradation, security breaches, or system failures

 Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident reports

 Report Generation: Assist in creating daily, weekly, and monthly network performance and incident reports for analysis and improvement

 Escalation: Learn the process of escalating issues to senior NOC engineers or other support teams when necessary, and follow up on issue resolution

 Software and Tools: Familiarize yourself with network monitoring and management tools and software used in the NOC, such as network monitoring systems and ticketing systems

 Security Compliance: Follow security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of network data

 Shift Work: Be prepared to work in shifts, as NOCs often provide 24/7 monitoring and support

 Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and IT professionals to address network related issues and incidents

 Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback for improving NOC procedures and processes based on your observations and experiences
