Job Summary

• Development of all server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming.
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Proficiency in Linux environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• On time delivery

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS -CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
  
• JavaScript frameworks like Angular, ionic etc., or JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js -Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap AJAX
  
• API design and development
  
• CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete)
  
• RESTful Services
  
•  Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  
• Database technologies like MongoDB.
  
•  Web server technologies like Node.js, JADE, J2EE, Nginx, etc.
  
• Frameworks related to their server-side language of choice like: Express.js, etc.
