Nozzle operator
Job Description
To dispense fuel accurately and safely to customers, handle cash or digital transactions, maintain cleanliness at the pump area, and provide polite and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities-
Dispense petrol/diesel safely and accurately as per customer request.

Handle cash, card, or UPI payments and return correct balance.

Greet customers politely and provide good service.

Follow safety rules: no smoking, no mobile, no open flame near dispensing area.

Maintain proper uniform, grooming, and hygiene.

Keep the dispensing area clean and free of spills.

Report any equipment fault, leakage, or emergency immediately to the manager.

Prevent malpractice, short-filling, or pilferage.

Assist in basic stock checks when required.

Basic math (to calculate fuel quantity, cash, and change).

Honesty, integrity, and discipline.

Customer service and polite behavior.

Physical fitness for long working hours.

Alertness and safety awareness.

Team player, cooperative with colleagues and management.

Minimum 10th pass (preferred, but not compulsory).

Prior petrol pump experience is an advantage, but freshers can apply.

Outdoor work at fuel dispensing area.

Shift-based duty (day/night).

Requires standing for long hours.
