National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) invites application for the position Engineer Executive Trainee
NTPC Limited is India's largest power conglomerate with an installed capacity of 67,907 MW. Commensurate with our country's growth challenges, NTPC has embarked upon an ambitious plan to attain a total installed capacity of 130 GW by 2032. To fuel its ambitious growth plan, NTPC is looking for promising, dedicated, energetic young Graduate Engineers with brilliant academic records to join the organization as:
1. Name of the Post: Engineer Executive Trainee
2. No of Post: 40
3. Qualification: Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMlE with not less than 65% marks (55% marks for SC, ST & PwBD category),as per respective Institute/University norms.
4. Compensation Package: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000/- - 1,40,000/- at the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- (El Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption.
5. Placement: The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training. Candidates can be placed, across the country, in any of projects/ stations including Subsidiaries/JVs companies of NTPC. The incumbents would be posted at projects/stations/sites and will be required to work in shifts (including night shift). Application for the post will be considered as the consent of the candidate to work in shifts (including night shift).
Upper Age limit for General/EWS is 27 years as on last date of application (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/XSM candidates applicable as per Govt. guidelines).
Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non- refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.
