Numeric Scientist and MATLAB Programmer

• We have an existing Financial Trading Data Analytics Platform whose analytics components are written in Matlab. The system runs on web-servers, and clients access it through the Internet. Our platform is a large enterprise system, developed by North American expert teams over a span of 15 years. You must excel at working in teams with an enterprise coding perspective. This is not a one-man freelance job. We want you become familiar with and join the team to maintain and evolve this existing platform.

•  We are looking for 4  Masters or PhD in applied math, physics, engineering, probability, computer sciences with  3 + years of extensive and excellent expertise in numeric mathematics in Matlab.  We use Matlab and some of it toolboxes: Statistics and Machine Learning, Fuzzy Logic, Neural Network, Optimization and Financial Toolboxes. You DO NOT need to be experts in any of these mathematical areas, but must be able to use these Matlab toolboxes to produce the desired outputs. Interest to gain expertise in quantitative methods in finance, AI and optimization in time, is a must.  For now, you will have to understand our existing codes we have already developed in Matlab and the above tool boxes, and maintain and enhance it. Good knowledge and actual numeric experience in these areas are a strong plus, numeric analysis, linear algebra, probability, optimization, differential equations, stochastic methods, Artificial Intelligence etc.

• Our Asia Pacific Office is in the resort town of Cebu in the Philippines. We want you to come there to join our team. We will assist you in relocating here. Our relocation package includes free airfare and 3 months of free accommodation.
