Job Summary:
We are currently hiring qualified and compassionate Nurse - DGNM for our reputed hospital located in Tambaram, Chennai. Nurses will be responsible for delivering quality nursing services across various departments under the guidance of senior medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Monitoring

Provide direct patient care as per nursing protocols and doctor’s instructions.

Monitor patient vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Assist in daily patient hygiene, feeding, mobility, and medication administration.

Report any changes in patient condition to the doctor or nursing supervisor immediately.
2. Medical Assistance

Assist doctors during rounds, examinations, and minor procedures.

Prepare patients for surgeries or diagnostic procedures as required.

Administer injections, IV fluids, and oral medications as prescribed.

Perform wound dressings, catheterizations, and other clinical tasks as per training.
3. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans and nursing notes.

Ensure documentation is completed as per hospital and nursing standards.

Prepare reports for shift handovers and coordinate with the next shift nurse.
4. Infection Control and Safety
-
Follow hospital protocols related to hygiene, sterilization, and infection control.

Use protective equipment (PPE) as required and dispose of biomedical waste properly.

Educate patients and caregivers on hygiene and recovery care when applicable.
5. Coordination and Teamwork

Work in coordination with doctors, nursing supervisors, lab technicians, and housekeeping staff.

Participate in case discussions, training sessions, and continuous medical education programs.

Support emergency care when required in ICU, ER, or operation theatre environments.
Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: DGNM (Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized nursing institute.

Registration: Must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council or any other State Nursing Council.
