Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care
  • Verify patient identity before procedures
  • Record vital signs (BP, Pulse, Temperature, SpO₂)
  • Assist doctors during consultation
  • Maintain patient privacy and dignity
2. OPD Management
  • Handle high patient volume efficiently
  • Prepare patients for consultation
  • Maintain proper queue and reduce waiting time
3. Medication & Procedures
  • Administer medicines and injections as prescribed
  • Follow “5 Rights” of medication
  • Perform basic procedures (IV, dressing, sample collection)
4. Infection Control
  • Follow hand hygiene protocols
  • Use PPE appropriately
  • Ensure proper biomedical waste disposal
5. Emergency Support
  • Identify emergencies and inform doctor
  • Assist in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Keep emergency equipment ready
6. Documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Record treatments and procedures
  • Report incidents or errors
7. Patient Education
  • Explain medications and follow-up
  • Guide patients for tests and next visits
8. Coordination
  • Coordinate with doctors, lab, and pharmacy
  • Maintain stock of medicines and supplies
