Job Description
Responsible for the safe, comfortable and comprehensive nursing care for the patients.
Ensure that the ward is well equipped with required articles to impart quick and safe nursing care.
Ensure proper Admission and Discharge of the patients.
Plan nursing care and make patients assignment as per their nursing needs.
Prepare duty roster and work assignment for her staff and send copy to nursing office daily.
Assist in the direct care of the patient as and when required.
See that helpless and vulnerable patients needs are taken care of. Ensure that proper observation records of the patients are made and necessary information is imparted to the concerned authorities.
Take nursing rounds with staff and students.
Make rounds with doctors, assists him/her in diagnosis and treatment of the patients.
Visit each patient in your ward at least once or twice during your shift.
