Trained Graduate Arts  

Qualification  :  Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce or Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree with 50% marks and B.Ed OR Four year integrated B.A.B.Ed

Trained Graduate Science (PCM/ CBZ)

Qualification  :  Bachelor’s Degree in science / B.Tech/ B.E. Degree with min 50% marks and B.Ed OR Four year integrated B.Sc.B.Ed

Hindi Teacher

Qualification  :  Bachelor’s degree with Hindi with min 50% marks and B.H.Ed. / B.Ed in Hindi OR Bachelor’s Degree with min 50% marks and B.H.Ed./ B.Ed in Hindi

Classical Teacher (Sanskrit)

Qualification  :  Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit with min 50% marks and Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit) OR Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree with min 50% marks and Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit)

Classical Teacher (Urdu)

Qualification  : Alim with 50% marks and B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed. OR B.A. (Persian) with 50% marks and B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed

Classical Teacher (Telgu)

Qualification  :  Bachelor’s Degree in Arts having Telgu as subject with min 50% marks and Telgu B. Ed.

Physical Education Teacher

Qualification  : 12th or its equivalent with min 50% marks and C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed.

NOTE : Successful candidates shall be awarded OSSTET Pass Certificate by the B.S.E., Odisha. The OSSTET Pass Certificate will remain valid till the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed for recruitment of teachers as per rules or executive instructions prescribed by the Govt.

Application Fee  :   Application fee is Rs.300 for SC/ST and Rs.500 for Others candidates. Fees is to be paid online by use of Net Banking/ debit card/ credit card OR cash payment through bank challan.

Selection Procedure :   There will be two papers of the OSSTET i.e Paper-I and Paper-II. The Duration of the Test in each paper shall be 2 hours and 30 minutes. All questions will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) each carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking. Minimum Qualifying Marks in each paper is 60%.
