We are an registered NGO based out of Mumbai. Akarma Abhiyan Manch. India is the world's largest democracy. Democracy means a government run by elected representatives of the people.

But the situation is intimidating. Despite 70 years of independence, common people have not been able to access the basic amenities of food, clothes & shelter. And there is no guarantee that things will change in the coming 70 years.

But will it make a difference by just criticizing the Government? We are also a part of the society. Can we do something to make a difference? It takes courage to ask these questions to yourself, & this initiative is an honest attempt to find answers to these questions.
The Akarma Abhiyan Manch is a social Organization (NGO). Our objective is to redress the fundamental problems of every individual / family in the society and build an empowered society.

Only an empowered society can build an empowered nation.
