Overview
The Office Assistant plays a vital support role in maintaining a smooth and organized office environment. This position involves handling daily office routines such as preparing tea and coffee, maintaining cleanliness in the office space, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The Office Assistant ensures that the workplace is comfortable, welcoming, and efficient for all employees and visitors.
This is a full-time role with working hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, requiring immediate joining. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and attentive to maintaining a clean and hospitable office atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Office Routine Support

Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments for staff and visitors throughout the day.

Maintain the pantry and kitchen area by ensuring supplies are stocked, utensils are clean, and appliances are properly used.

Arrange refreshments during meetings and special office events.
2. Office Space Cleaning and Maintenance

Keep the office premises clean and tidy, including workstations, meeting rooms, corridors, and common areas.

Sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces regularly.

Clean windows, glass panels, and doors to maintain a neat appearance.

Dispose of office waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
3. Administrative Assistance

Assist with basic clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and organizing documents as needed.

Help in receiving and directing visitors or deliveries courteously.

Support the team with any other day-to-day office tasks as assigned.
4. Health and Safety Compliance

Follow office safety guidelines while handling cleaning equipment and supplies.

Report any maintenance issues or hazards in the office to the relevant department promptly.
