Office Assistant
Job Description
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails
Manage visitor logs and maintain security procedures
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and documents
Maintain filing systems (electronic and paper-based)
Support data entry, record-keeping, and document organization
Order and manage office supplies and inventory
Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed
Assist other departments with administrative needs
Ensure office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.) is functioning properly
Help organize company events, meetings, and staff activities
Maintain calendars and ensure timely communication of office updates
