Job Description
Job Summary
We are hiring an Office Boy who will play a vital support role in managing day-to-day activities related to warehouse operations, including goods inward and outward, order dispatch, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate should be responsible, punctual, and physically fit, with the ability to handle both warehouse and basic office tasks.
This role is essential for ensuring smooth warehouse and logistics functioning, supporting both the store and the administrative staff. Candidates with basic experience in warehouse handling or delivery coordination will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Goods Inward Handling

Assist in receiving goods, checking quantity and quality as per the delivery challan/invoice.

Unload goods from vehicles and move them to appropriate storage areas.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of receiving zones.

Help update records of goods received in registers or on basic Excel sheets (if required).

Inform the warehouse manager about damaged or incorrect deliveries.
2. Goods Outward & Dispatch

Assist in picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch based on order slips.

Ensure goods are packed securely and labeled correctly for delivery.

Handover packages to couriers, transporters, or customers as per instructions.

Maintain dispatch logs and help in tracking deliveries if required.

Support with printing labels or invoices (training will be provided if necessary).
3. Warehouse Upkeep & Inventory Support

Keep storage racks organized and ensure items are placed in the correct locations.

Conduct periodic physical checks to count stock and assist in inventory audits.

Help segregate damaged or returned stock from regular inventory.

Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and its surroundings daily.

Ensure proper stacking of goods, observing basic safety and hygiene.
4. Office & Admin Support

Serve tea, coffee, or water to staff and visitors.

Handle indoor errands such as photocopying, filing, or delivering documents to nearby locations.

Support in cleaning desks, workstations, and common areas as needed.

Assist in opening and closing office premises, turning on lights, fans, or ACs.

Keep pantry and supplies stocked and organized.
5. Bank & Outdoor Work (If Required)

Visit banks, courier offices, or local markets for official errands.

Submit or collect documents and materials as assigned.

Maintain safety and confidentiality while carrying important files or cash (if applicable).
Skills & Qualities Required

Basic reading and writing skills (minimum 10th pass or equivalent).

Physically fit and able to lift or move packages weighing up to 15-20 kg.

Willingness to work in a warehouse setting and office environment.

Honest, disciplined, punctual, and hardworking.

Good attitude and team player.
-
Basic knowledge of local routes (for delivery-related tasks) is a plus.

Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time.
