JobDescription:
- Recommend Optimal transportation modes, routing, or frequency, create cost effective policies for logistics activities
- Plan or implement material inflow management system to meet production requirements. Coordinating with all internal & external agencies regarding Material movement from port to Plant & back to empty yard of equipment.
- Resolve problems concerning Import custom clearances, transportation and unloading issues and ensure zero detention and demurrage.
- Directly involvement in inbound logistics operations such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety training and implementation & Logistics quality management.
- Tracking & Costing MIS reporting to superiors.
- Timely settlement of claim related to container damage at empty yard, Short receipt of material at CFS or plant by coordinating with shipping line, CHA, CFS and surveyor.
- To track and minimize the container turnover time from CFS through plant to empty yard and suggest cost.
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationship with superiors colleagues, vendors, Transporter and maintaining them over time.
Qualifications: Any Master degree or Graduate with working Experience in chemical industry, handling inbound logistics, International Logistics, knowledge of SAP working.
