Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible On-site Service Technician to handle installation, maintenance, and repair services for a range of automatic entrance automation systems, including automatic rolling shutters, automatic gates, boom barriers, and sliding/folding door systems.
This is a travel-intensive role requiring technicians to visit customer sites across cities and regions to provide timely service. The company will cover food, accommodation, and travel expenses, and provide support for travel coordination and technical training.
The ideal candidate should be hands-on with mechanical and electrical components, be able to work independently or with a team on site, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation of Automation Systems:

Carry out installation of various entrance automation products, including:
-
Motorized rolling shutters
-
Swing and sliding gate motors
-
Automatic glass doors and sensors
-
Remote control access systems
-
Boom barriers and access control units
-

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, user manuals, and product installation guidelines.
2. Service and Maintenance:
-
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or control panel issues in installed systems.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance visits.

Ensure timely servicing of equipment as per Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Replace faulty parts, motors, sensors, or control units as required.
3. Customer Interaction:

Communicate clearly with site managers, property owners, or facility staff regarding service status and requirements.

Provide demonstrations or brief training to customers on system operation and maintenance.

Obtain customer acknowledgment and sign-off upon successful job completion.
4. Reporting and Documentation:

Fill out daily service reports and job completion forms accurately.

Maintain logs of spare parts used and report shortages to the inventory team.

Capture photographs or videos of installation/service jobs for internal records.
5. Travel and Field Work:

Willing to travel to project sites across different states and regions.

Flexible to be deployed at job sites for multiple days depending on project scope.

Coordinate with head office for dispatch schedules, spare part requirements, and travel plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
-
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics

Candidates with technical hands-on experience and no formal degree may also apply
Technical Skills:
-
Basic understanding of motors, control panels, relays, and sensors

Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase wiring systems

Familiarity with tools and safety equipment used in on-site service work

Ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot faults

Basic programming or settings adjustment on control boards (preferred)
Soft Skills:

Good communication skills in Hindi, English, or local language

Polite and professional behavior at client sites

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Time management and reliability under minimum supervision
