Job Description
Oversee the management of cancer patients under the supervision of the treating oncologist and the resident physician.
Administration of cancer chemotherapy drugs and management of its side effects. Managing multiple sites of administration including IV( Cannula and Port), SC, Oral and Intrathecal.
Support the resident physician in managing any drug adverse effects and any medical emergencies.
Conduct a detailed assessment of cancer patients at the start of the treatment and initiation of every cycle of chemotherapy.
Help patients and families in understanding the cancer treatment and support them in accessing various services within the center.
Must be able to lift or transfer patients, medical supplies, and equipment.
Coordinate with doctors and related departments leads to planning administrative activities. This will include all activities pertaining to clinical documentation, referrals, and discharges.
