Job Description

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgery

  • Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure infection control protocols

  • Arrange surgical instruments and equipment as per procedure requirements

  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries

  • Handle OT equipment such as suction machines, anesthesia machines, monitors, etc.

  • Check functioning of lights, oxygen supply, and other OT systems

  • Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital policies

  • Maintain patient safety and comfort in the OT

  • Keep records of surgical instruments and supplies
