Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgery
Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure infection control protocols
Arrange surgical instruments and equipment as per procedure requirements
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries
Handle OT equipment such as suction machines, anesthesia machines, monitors, etc.
Check functioning of lights, oxygen supply, and other OT systems
Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital policies
Maintain patient safety and comfort in the OT
Keep records of surgical instruments and supplies
