Job Description

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Troubleshoot and correct challenging Oracle technical issues, including utilizing Oracle Diagnostic programs
2. Assist the DBA/Development team with the availability of the development, test, and production environments
3. Work with the Application Development, and technical teams to implement changes to the computing environment
4. Apply new versions/patches to the production database
5. Create and support system documentation and maintenance scripts
6. Perform server/application audits and health checks
7. Research, propose, and implement new solutions, features, and improvements

Requirements:

1. Candidate should have 1+ years of experience in Oracle Database and Oracle Application (eBusiness Suite - R12) administration
2. The candidate should have sound conceptual knowledge of relational databases and have working experience in database issue troubleshooting, Database performance tuning, Database patching User Management, backup & recovery
3. Database administrations, eBusiness Suite Administrations - Oracle database 19c, eBusiness Suite (R12), Orbit Administrations, Oracle OID/OAM administration
4. Query Performance Tuning
5. Database Installation, Patching, Upgrade
6. Expertise with Oracle DBMS, PL/SQL coding including function, stored procedures, packages, and stand-alone PL/SQL blocks is required
7. Good knowledge of working with UNIX/Linux scripts
8. Experience with cloning, code migration processes
9. Working knowledge of change management, project management, configuration management, versioning tools, quality assurance, and documentation skills
