What Does an Oracle EPM Consultant Do?
✅ Implement & Configure Oracle EPM solutions (PBCS, EPBCS, FCCS, Hyperion)
✅ Automate Financial Planning budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
✅ Optimize Financial Close with FCCS & ARCS
✅ Integrate EPM with ERP systems for seamless data flow
✅ Enhance Performance & Troubleshoot Issues
Key Responsibilities
1. Oracle EPM Implementation & Configuration
-
Design, configure, and deploy Oracle EPM Cloud (Planning, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, and EDMCS) solutions.

Provide technical and functional expertise for Oracle Hyperion applications (HFM, Planning, Essbase).

Customize workflows, dashboards, and reporting to align with business requirements.
2. Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather business needs.

Analyze existing performance management processes and recommend improvements.

Develop and implement best practices for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
3. System Integration & Data Management
-
Integrate Oracle EPM solutions with ERP, data warehouses, and third-party applications.

Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across all financial reports.

Develop and optimize ETL processes and automation workflows.
4. Training & User Support
-
Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.

Provide troubleshooting and support for Oracle EPM-related issues.

Create and maintain user manuals, documentation, and SOPs.
5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and optimize workflows.

Implement automation, scripting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Stay updated with Oracle EPM Cloud updates, patches, and new features.
