Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Provide quality nursing care
2. Perform accurate nursing documentation
3. Attend Continued Nursing Education (CNE) sessions in a month
4. Do effective sales and consumption on regular basis
5. Perform nursing care based on evidenced based practices.
6. Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the patients condition and provide patient centered care.
7. To document the patients information accurately on timely basis.
8. Follow the process of in-patient and day care OT procedure and provide nursing care appropriately.
9. Inter-departmental co-ordination for in patients Transfer in and out process.
10. Provide pre and post procedure care to the patient
11. Contribute towards patient safety and participate in quality improvement programs.
12. Maintain professional code of ethics and code of conduct at all times.
13. Attend at-least 10 Continuous Nursing Education sessions in a month
14. Respond to hospital codes in time and assume the assigned responsibility
15. Prevention of patient falls during hospitalization
16. Compliance to management of medication policies to avoid any near misses or errors
17. Prevention of hospital associated pressure ulcers after admission
18. Prevent worsening of pressure ulcer
19. Compliance to hospital infection control protocols and prevention of sharp injuries
20. Monitor the patient with tubes and catheters to avoid removal.
21. Maintain intravenous infusions for patients to avoid any complications
22. Monitor and provide continuously care to patients with restraints to avoid untoward incidences
