Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated OT Technician (Operation Theatre) to support surgical teams in delivering high-quality care during operative procedures. The OT Technician will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operation theatre, sterilizing instruments, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Whether working in general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, or emergency procedures, the OT Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that surgeries are conducted smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
✅ Assist surgeons, nurses, and anaesthesiologists during operations.
✅ Handle instruments aseptic techniques and pass them promptly upon the surgeon's demand.
✅ Prepare and position the patient appropriately for the procedure.
✅ Monitor and manage inventories of OT instruments and consumable stocks.
✅ Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
✅ Ensure adherence to infection control, hospital policy, and safety protocols.
✅ Provide a clean, hygienic, and well-organized theatre environment at all times.
✅ Handle equipment safely and report any damage or malfunction promptly.
