Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pacemaker Technician / Field Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to visit hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and patient residences to perform pacemaker check-ups, implants, consultations, and follow-ups.
This role requires someone who is compassionate, patient-friendly, and medically knowledgeable with the ability to communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and caregivers. As a Pacemaker Field Executive, you will also collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure proper functioning of devices and provide technical support during implantation procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pacemaker Check-Ups & Device Monitoring

Visit hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and patient homes to perform pacemaker check-ups.

Verify device functioning, battery life, lead connections, and programming settings.

Ensure the device is operating optimally and meets patient requirements.

Maintain accurate patient records and update follow-up reports after each check-up.
2. Pacemaker Implant Support

Assist cardiologists and surgeons during pacemaker implantation procedures.

Provide technical support by verifying pacemaker models, testing devices, and calibrating settings.

Ensure proper device configuration before and after implantation.

Educate patients and their families about post-implant care and device precautions.
3. Patient Consultation & Education

Visit patient residences to check pacemaker performance and address any concerns.

Guide patients on lifestyle modifications, device usage, and safety guidelines.

Offer emotional support and ensure patients are comfortable with their pacemaker.

Explain follow-up schedules, hospital visits, and maintenance procedures.
4. Hospital & Nursing Home Visits

Regularly visit partner hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and dispensaries to:

Support cardiologists and nursing staff

Provide updates on latest pacemaker models and technologies

Offer after-sales service and technical assistance to medical professionals.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed reports of patient visits, device status, and technical checks.

Submit regular updates to the reporting manager and biomedical team.

Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and confidentiality policies.
6. Coordination with Doctors & Healthcare Staff

Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, physicians, and hospital staff.

Assist in arranging workshops, demonstrations, and awareness programs on pacemaker technologies.

Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide end-to-end patient care.
Required Skills & Competencies
