Job Description
Order Picking: Accurately select items from shelves/inventory based on customer orders, using handheld scanners or pick lists.
Packing & Quality Control: Inspect items for defects, damage, or discrepancies before packing them securely into appropriate containers.
Labeling & Shipping: Label, seal, and weigh packages for shipment, ensuring correct shipping documentation is attached.
Inventory Maintenance: Assist with restocking shelves, updating inventory levels, and ensuring accurate stock counts.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all warehouse health and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move heavy objects (typically 30-50 lbs) for long periods.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
Experience: Previous warehouse, stockroom, or distribution center experience is often preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or barcode scanners.
Education: High school diploma or GED is generally required.
