Part-Time Job Opportunity Milk Delivery Service
We're hiring for our milk delivery team!
Hours: 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM daily
Salary: ₹2500–₹3000 per month (negotiable)
Requirements: Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for delivery tasks

Key Responsibilities

Daily Route Management
-
Collect and verify delivery instructions for the day, including addresses, delivery quantities, and any special customer notes.

Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service.

Load and organize milk crates and other dairy products into the delivery vehicle based on the route and delivery order.

Use handheld devices or printed manifests to track deliveries and update order statuses in real time.

Product Delivery

Deliver milk and dairy products to homes, offices, schools, and other businesses.

Ensure all deliveries are made accurately, safely, and on time.

Place the products in designated areas as instructed by the customer (e.g., porch, cooler box, reception).

Collect empty bottles or crates (if applicable) and return them to the facility.

Customer Interaction

Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, respectful, and professional at all times.

Address customer questions, concerns, or special requests during deliveries.

Handle payments when necessary and issue receipts or update digital payment systems accordingly.

Report unresolved customer complaints or issues to the supervisor for further action.

Vehicle Operation and Maintenance

Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department immediately.

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior to preserve product quality and ensure safety.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and customer feedback.

Submit daily delivery reports and confirm completion of assigned routes.

Assist in inventory tracking by reporting shortages, damages, or returns.

Health & Safety

Follow all food safety standards and guidelines related to handling and transporting dairy products.

Ensure milk and other perishables are stored at appropriate temperatures during transportation.

Wear company-provided safety gear and adhere to hygiene protocols.

Comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines and local health regulations, if applicable.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Requirements:
-
Valid driver’s license (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
-
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
-
At least 1 year of experience in a delivery, courier, or logistics role (experience in food delivery is a plus).

Must be able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Skills:

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (approx. 18 kg).

Basic math skills for handling payments and recording deliveries.

Familiarity with GPS navigation and/or route planning tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent walking, bending, and lifting.

You must be able to work in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).

Long periods of driving and occasional manual labor are part of daily tasks.
