Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Strategic Outreach: Perform targeted cold calling and cold emailing to initiate conversations with potential partners, presenting SkillSim's value proposition compellingly
2. Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in universities, colleges, schools, companies, and within the professional community to establish and grow partnerships
3. Travel and Networking: Regularly travel within Mumbai to meet prospective and current partners, attend industry events, and represent SkillSim at various gatherings to strengthen network ties
4. Negotiation and Agreement Closure: Lead negotiations with potential partners, ensuring agreements are beneficial and align with organizational goals. Finalize deals and oversee the partnership's implementation phase
5. Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new partnership opportunities, understand industry trends, and adapt strategies accordingly

Other requirements
1. Obtain a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in related areas are advantageous
2. Demonstrate experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, ideally within the education, training, or professional development sectors
3. Showcase a track record of successfully negotiating and securing partnerships or business agreements
4. Use cold calling, cold emailing, and other direct outreach strategies to connect with potential partners
5. Benefit from prior experience that includes travel for business development purposes.
6. Display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and persuade high-level decision-makers.
7. Utilize strong analytical skills to conduct market research and analyze partnership opportunities
8. Demonstrate excellent negotiation and closing skills
9. Show the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed within Mumbai
10. Exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
11. Demonstrate high motivation, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities
12. Adapt and remain resilient, navigating challenges and adjusting strategies in dynamic environments
13. Embrace a strong ethical foundation in business practices, committed to building long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships
