Job Description
As a PCB Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in identifying and rectifying issues in printed circuit boards to ensure the functionality and reliability of electronic products. You'll work closely with our manufacturing and quality control teams to diagnose problems, perform repairs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnostic Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis and diagnostics of defective or malfunctioning PCBs to identify root causes of issues.
- Utilize schematic diagrams, test equipment, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
2. Component Replacement:
- Remove and replace faulty components such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and connectors with precision and accuracy.
- Solder and desolder components using industry-standard techniques.
3. Soldering and Rework:
- Perform soldering and rework on PCBs to correct manufacturing defects or damage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for soldering quality.
4. Quality Control:
- Conduct functional tests on repaired PCBs to verify correct operation and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement corrective actions and prevent recurring issues.
5. Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of repair activities, including issues identified, actions taken, and test results.
- Provide documentation for process improvement and knowledge sharing.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and relevant departments to share insights and contribute to process optimization.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to provide feedback on recurring issues and potential design improvements.
Who Are We Looking For?
Skills Required
Experience in a repairing PCB at component level
Troubleshooting and Fault finding experience
Soldering skills at SMD and Thru-hole level
Basic Electronic Fundamentals & Should be able to understand Component Datasheet.
