Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Kasauli was established on 23rd July, 1986 from class I to Vth. A temporary accommodation was provided by Air Force to run the school. At the commencement of the Vidyalaya, Group Captain K.K.S. Venkatraman was the first chairman and Mr. P. L. Dabral was the first Principal of the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya was upgraded gradually as one section each year. The first batch of class X board passed out in 1992. In 2004, KV Sangathan constructed its own building with 22 rooms in 5 floors.
