Admission Notice for Ph.D. and M.Phil Programmes SESSION 2017-2018
1. Ph.D. Course Works in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering shall be conducted at Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat.
2. DURAT 2017 in Economics and Political Science (for Ph.D.) qualified candidates may contact the Office of the Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development (OKDISCD), Guwahati for enrolment into the Ph.D. Programmes to be conducted at the Institute.
3. Maximum 10 (ten) candidates of Ph.D. in Life Sciences shall be allotted with the Ph.D. Supervisors working at DR College, Golaghat. Qualified in the DURAT 2017 in Life Sciences of NET- JRF in Life Sciences may contact the Office of the Principal, DR College, Golaghat for enrolment into the Ph.D. Programmes to be conducted at the College.
Eligibility Criteria: a) A candidate seeking admission to the course for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and M.Phil. Programme shall have to obtain at least 55% marks OR equivalent grade point in the Master’s Degree Programme in the relevant subject. Relaxation of maximum 5% marks for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. AND b) Qualified the Dibrugarh University Research Admission Test (DURAT), 2017 or NETJRF in the relevant subject.
A. M.Phil in Political Science : Candidates seeking admission in M. Phil Programme are hereby requested to submit their application along with DURAT Score card, Mark-sheets/ Certificates of relevant examinations passed, NET-JRF Certificates and Caste Certificates (for reserved category candidates) on or before January 19, 2018 in accordance with Dibrugarh University Notification No. DU/DR-A/4-1-Ph.D.-M.Phil/17/2033 dated 22.12.2017.
The candidates are further informed to appear before the Screening Committee at 10.00 AM on 22-01-2018 to be held in the Conference Hall, Dept. of Political Science, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh.
B. Ph.D in Political Science: Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D Programme are hereby requested to submit their application along with DURAT Score card, Mark sheets/ Certificates of relevant examinations passed, NET-JRF Certificates and Caste Certificates (for reserved category candidates) on or before January 19, 2018 in accordance with Dibrugarh University Notification No. DU/DR-A/4-1-Ph.D.-M.Phil/17/2033 dated 22.12.2017.
The candidates are further informed to appear before the Screening Committee at 11.00 AM on 23-01-2018 to be held in the Conference Hall, Dept. of Political Science, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh.
